The Origami Crane is a symbol of peace & prosperity. An icon of the Japanese culture & symbol recognized around the globe. I first learned to fold the Origami Crane at the age of 9, in second grade, after reading Sadako & 1,000 cranes. The story inspired me to fold, which continued into a passion for the past 10+ years.
Origami (折り紙, from ori meaning “folding”, and kami meaning “paper”) – Originates from Japanese Culture, with a multitude of traditional models for various spiritual & physical purposes.
